THE Solomon Islands Port Authority (SIPA) has successfully staged the “Safe and Green Games” concert last Friday night at the landmark Unity Square at Point Cruz in Honiara.
The concert was staged as part of the “Safe and Green Games” initiative launched by the National Government last Friday as the country prepares to host the 17th Pacific Games later this year.
It was the Unik 7 band that performed at the concert attracting many Honiara residents to the event.
The concert included promotional activities regarding the upcoming Pacific Games.
SIPA, one of the leading State Owned Enterprises in the country, said the concert is a way forward to instill the spirit of the regional games in Solomon Islanders and promote unity in keeping Solomon Islands clean, green and beautiful for the event to be held in Honiara from November to December.
