A daughter survived domestic violence from her father in the Western province on Sunday.
Reports reaching this paper said that a young daughter was almost killed by her father who got drunk and angry in which later he allegedly kicked his daughter hard in her face.
She was lucky to be saved by the surrounding neighbours and communities who came to rescue her.
The tragic incident occurred at Noro in Western Province on Sunday morning.
According to witness’ claims the accused father kicked his daughter leaving her unconsciously on the ground.
Witnesses said it was very fortunate and lucky that the neighbours ran to rescue her.
“Fortunately, neighbours and those around the vicinity came and provided first aid to get her to breath.
“It was very lucky for the girl,” one of the Noro residents said.
“I call on the Police in Noro to immediately arrest the father. Please treat this message as a report to immediately arrest the culprit, a concerned uncle of the daughter said.
“This is very serious and a threat to the life of the daughter,” her uncle said.
It is said that the daughter was living with her aunty for a number of years now and that her parents did not look after her.
The victimized daughter is a mother of a child.
It is said that his father got angry out of the blue, ending up visiting his daughter at her aunty’s house and kicked her resulting in her falling unconscious.
Meanwhile, a manhunt to arrest the suspected father has been conducted by the Noro Police Officers.
