HONIARA and Malaita Team has won their first medals in the Solomon Games that is currently underway in Honiara.
According to the results provided, Emily Mafi of Team Honiara won the gold medal with a total throw of 9.08 meter and Freda W claimed the silver medal with a total throw of 8.49 meters.
Daisy Kofela from Malaita won the bronze medal with a total throw of 8.36 meters.
Meanwhile the Shotput event will continue today along with the start of the track events.
