SOLOMON Islands renowned cultural music artist, Charles Maimarosia, will be releasing his new album this year.
Maimarosia is in Australia working on his new album, which is anticipated to be released any time this year.
Maimarosia, who picked up the multicultural arts Victoria sponsored Diasporas Award last year, is into contemporary cultural music using guitar and bamboo flutes.
In an interview with Maimarosia on face-book, Maimarosia said apart from his current work for his new album, he is also performing in several music shows in Australia.
“Apart from working on my new album, I also performed in several shows in Australia and recently I also performed three shows in the Blue Mountains Festival in Australia.”
“I’m looking forward to perform alongside one of our country’s legend, Natty D and we will perform alongside another two artists Jimmy and Jorome,” Maimarosia said.
