THE leading telecommunication company in Solomon Islands, Our Telekom through its Marketing Manager and Agent Network Manager and the UNCDF (United Nations Capital Development Fund) mobile money analyst, has successfully held meetings with partners for the introduction of mobile money in the Western Province.
According to a statement from Our Telekom, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the immense opportunities that Mobile Money can offer to Noro, Munda, and Gizo.
“The presentation was a success and the team is grateful for the chance to present the Mobile Money service in detail,” the statement said.
“Mobile Money service will provide a secure and convenient way for customers to perform transactions using their mobile phones. This mobile money service can be accessed using either a mobile app and/or USSD code which means it can be accessed on any handset (Smartphone or button/feature phone),” the statement added.
“This technology is a game-changer that will transform the way we conduct business.
The team is thrilled to witness the positive impact that Mobile Money will have on Noro, Munda, and Gizo. Keep an eye out for more updates on this mobile money service,” the statement further added.
