A MAN accused of an armed robbery incident at the Greenland Enterprises Ltd Office at Henderson, Central Guadalcanal, early this year will take his plea next week.
Ben Abitalo, 24, will be entering his plea to the charge of armed robbery.
It was heard on Tuesday that the prosecution has just received the Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) footage from the police and will be disclosing it to the defence counsel.
Principal Magistrate, Fatima Taeburi, therefore adjourned the matter for plea on April 18.
On 18 January this year, Abitalo allegedly cut open a wire fence at the back of the Greenland Enterprises Ltd building.
He then entered the office after he unscrewed a window frame.
At that time, the prosecution alleged he was armed with a bush knife.
Abitalo walked into the kitchen and dining room where the CCTV camera clearly captured and recorded his every move during the robbery.
He searched thoroughly in every room and stole the most valuable items from the office room and escaped.
Abitalo allegedly robbed a huge amount of cash money estimated to be more than SBD$20,000, a cash cheque of $150,000 and other valuable items,
Police managed to recover two Apple-brand iPhones, one MacBook Air, two Apple Laptops, one black Redmi mobile phone and $1800 SBD.
