GUADALCANAL Football Association (GFA) has kicked off its Futsal Championship at the Multipurpose Hall outdoor court yesterday.
Four matches were played to mark day one of the competition.
Ten teams are participating in the inaugural Futsal championship.
Parikana FC, Longu Miracles FC, Marau Birao Lightnings FC, Foxwood United FC and Dawn FC are grouped in Pool A and Pool B has GPPOL 2 FC, Vura FC, Soil Movement FC, Balanga FC, Malango FC.
Matches will continue today up until Friday.
The Futsal Championship is the first of three GFA programs for this year.
Coming up will be the GFA Beach Soccer Championship followed by the GFA U12 and U14 football league.
