A GROUP from the University of Queensland is currently visiting Solomon Islands under Australia’s New Colombo Mobility Project.
The group consists of professors and undergraduates.
A statement from the Australian High Commission in Honiara said the group will hear about the huge development projects under the Solomon Islands Australia Partnership, listen to locals in Choiseul Province at Solomon Islands first voluntary carbon offset project and learn more about the social, economic and environmental benefits of this initiative.
“Solomon Islands and Australian relationships are built on exchanges and people-to-people ties,” the statement said.
