THE 2023Pacific Games Baton has completed its tour in Isabel Province, the first province to host the Baton Relay following its official unveiling two week ago.
The Baton’s team posted pictures of the communities in Isabel they visited, describing their tour as both exciting and successful.
“The emotions captured in the photos are like a mirror reflecting the pure joy and excitement of the people in these areas.
“They held the baton, felt its weight and let its significance sink in – a moment etched in time.
“A heartfelt thank you to the Isabel Provincial Government and the incredible communities of Isabel Province.
“Your warm hospitality and hard work have resulted in an amazing setup for the baton relay.
“This journey has been a success, visiting the beautiful spots in Isabel Province and creating lasting memories for the people there,” a statement from the team stated.
The Baton will continue its journey around the country.
The next stop for the Baton relay is in the Central Islands Province.
The Baton will conclude its relay around the country just in time for the official opening of the 2023 Pacific Games in November.
