THE 2024 Academic Year of the South Sea’s Evangelical Church-operated Su’u National Secondary School (NSS) in West Kwaio, Malaita Province, is set to commence on Monday 22 January.
The commencement date was announced in a statement yesterday to remind both old and new students to get ready to travel to the boarding school.
Parents and guardians of children studying at the school have been advised to book them with Express Pelican which is scheduled to leave Honiara on Sunday 21 January for the Su’u Port through Auki.
“For the students in Honiara, note that after you have done your booking, please board Express Pelican on Sunday 21st January. 7am is the departure time. For the Auki students, you are advised to board Express Pelican on the same date when the vessel arrives in Auki.”
In terms of student registration, the statement said the registration dates for students living in Honiara and other islands are Tuesday 16 January and Wednesday 17 January and the venue of registration is the SSEC Headquarters in Honiara.
It said registration for Auki students and the northern, eastern and central Malaita regions will be on Friday 19 January and Saturday 20 January at the SSEC Ambu Transit.
The statement said both old and new students are to be at the school as of Monday 22.
