Honiara Netball Association (HNA) league 2024 season has kicked off over the weekend at the Multipurpose Hall in Honiara.
A total of 15 matches from both the four divisions were played across two courts (court 1& 2).
Matches on Saturday saw four matches played are from super division, 4 matches from division A, four matches from division B and another three matches for division C.
For the teams that observed Sabbath, their matches have been delayed today, Monday at 2pm.
All matches will be played at Multipurpose courts at Lawson Tama.
This year’s HNA season comprises of four divisions, including Super division, division A, division B, division and division C.
Super division comprises of 11 teams, division A also with 11 teams while division B with 12 teams and division C with 13 teams.
This year’s season is anticipated to be a tough one as great prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division of the four allocation division.
HNA organizing committee also made it clear that for the start matches will be played only on Saturdays and Monday, where teams who observed Sabbath their matches are scheduled for Mondays while non-Sabbath keepers will play on Saturdays.
