In a new twist within the political arena of Western Provincial Government (WPG), the Deputy Premier Carlrick Runimetu and Chairman of Caucus Hon. Freedom Tozaka have submitted their resignation letters to the Premier as a motion of no confidence looms.
In a statement from the Western Province Non-Executive, the resignations from both are from the incompetence and poor performance by the Premier Billy Veo and his Executive within the ACAREA Government.
“Amongst other issues raised, the Policies of ACAREA Government cannot be implemented due to the Executive Ministers not effectively executing their role in the highest office, hence not taking their role seriously as responsible Ministers.
“Also the Deputy Premier and Chairman of Caucus find it quite difficult to work with the ACAREA Government Executive, thus plans are ignored and are not effectively carried out as expected, and no proper coordination within the top ranks of the Province.
“Furthermore, ACAREA Ministers are not serious in their roles, hence their contributions in discussions does not reflect their positions as Ministers in the Executive Government,” the statement issued this evening said.
Since forming the ACAREA Government, Premier Billy Veo and his Executive have been inactive towards the development aspiration in terms of moving the Province forward, yet spending so much money on unproductive undertakings which are not align with the policies.
The move as will be seen by many Western populace in the country and abroad, is a reawakening call for a change of leadership within one of the developed Province in the country.
Following the resignation of Hon. Runimetu and Hon. Tozaka, four more from the Executive will follow suite and resign which may lead to a motion of no confidence moved against the ACAREA led regime.
