THREE key officers who will ensure projects and plans of Gizo/Kolombangara constituency are implemented smoothly have been revealed.
Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency Jimson Tanangada on Wednesday 23rd October publicly declared the names of the officers when he officially launched the four years constituency rural development policy road map at the provincial capital.
“To ensure that the vision of the constituency becomes a reality, we have appointed capable individuals to key roles within the constituency.”
And he took time to introduce each one of them to the packed crowd at Gizo netball stadium.
The newly appointed officers are;
Constituency Development Officer (CDO) is Alphonse Wale
Constituency Accountant – Tamisia Luxton Tiona
Constituency Project Officer – Prasana Lezutuni
Tanangada who is also the Minister of Police, National Security and Correctional Services told his voters and supporters that these individuals will be their point of contacts as they work together to implement this policy.
“I urge you to support them and collaborate closely to achieve the objectives of our development strategy,” the MP said.
MP Tanangada said this Rural Development Policy Program for 2024-2028 is a roadmap for a better, more resilient and inclusive Gizo and Kolombangara.
“It is a vision built on your needs, your aspirations, and your dreams.
Together with strong governance, diversified economic opportunities, investment in our people and a commitment to social welfare, we can build a future where all our people thrive.”
He took time to appeal and invite everyone who were present to join him in this journey.
“Let us rise to the challenge and make this vision a reality for the future of our islands depends on the actions we take today.”
He also acknowledged his supporters for having the trust and confidence in his leadership.
“Thank you for your faith in my leadership and together we will continue to build a stronger safer, and more prosperous Solomon Islands,” he said.
