Gerasi Community High School (CHS) in North New Georgia, Western Province on Friday 1st November 2024 successfully held a colourful and jubilant graduation ceremony.
The celebration marked the achievements of form 3 and 5 students as they reached a significant milestone in their educational journeys.
The event, graced by families, community leaders, and school staff, highlighted the commitment of students, staff, and the Gerasi community to education.
The ceremony was held following the completion of the form 3 students exam.
Form five students will complete their exams this week.
Principal Lawrence Rence, in his opening remarks, commended the graduates for their resilience and dedication.
He noted that the students’ hard work and determination have prepared them for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
“Today, we not only celebrate your achievements but also recognize the support of your families, teachers, and community members who have guided you along the way,” Rence said.
The ceremony featured speech from Principal, showcasing a blend of pride, reflection, and excitement for the future.
For form 3 graduates, the day marked the transition toward further studies and new academic challenges, while form 5 graduates faced the exciting prospect of either continuing their education or exploring new career opportunities.
