THE Isabel Football Association (IFA) has successfully elected its new executive in an elective congress hosted last Thursday in Buala, Isabel Province.
The congress showcased strong representation from all the 16 zones within the IFA, highlighting a unified approach to advancing football governance and development in the province.
The official programme was graced with the presence of none other than the President of the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) Donald Marahare, who commended the seamless conduct of the election and praised the collective spirit displayed by the delegates, on behalf of SIFF and the football communities across the province.
“I assure you of my executive’s full support in working collaboratively with the IFA Excutive to drive the football development throughout the province,” President Marahare stated.
President Marahare also conveyed his appreciation to both the outgoing and incoming IFA leadership and the broader football community in Isabel Province for their continued commitment to the sport.
Moreover, President Marahare also acknowledged the shared vision amongst the delegates to elevate football in Isabel province to greater heights.
The newly elected executive are:
President: Samson Aumae
Vice President: Alick Daoleni
General Secretary: Timothy Zezemu
Executive Members: Sylvester Rogi, Bella Mane and Peter Rium
The Isabel Provincial government (IPG) also stepped in, providing support during the official event in terms of logistical assistance which was pivotal in the successful hosting of the event.
