Auki-based Police officers have rearrested one of Onelink Pacifica’s directors at his home village in small Malaita for evading court trials in connection with the Onelink money scheme.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) National Capital and Crime Prevention Mr. Simpson Pogeava told reporters that Auki police conducted a patrol on 30 January 2025 in South Malaita and arrested the Onelink Pacifica associates, who is under a warrant of arrest.
AC Pogeava said after receiving a call from the Honiara with an under-warrant summon, they went to the suspect’s location and arrested the defendant.
The suspect had been sent over to Honiara to attend his court appearance.
Mr. Pogeava wishes to make it clear that the Onelink missing money is before the court, and the officer implicated in this matter has been suspended and is attending his court trial.
