THE Anglican Diocese of Malaita recently held a three-day workshop for its senior priests.
Led by the Bishop of the Diocese of Malaita, Right Reverend Micheal Sau Bebeu, the workshop brought together senior parish priests from across the diocese for an enriching time of learning and fellowship.
The event began with a Holy Eucharist and a retreat, both of which were conducted by Bishop Bebeu.
During the workshop, participants took part in various sessions, including presentations on the first-quarter template, teaching materials on liturgy and worship and in-depth discussions on Anglican practices.
The clergy were also introduced to the Anglican Prayer Book and its associated rituals.
This workshop was specifically designed to equip the clergy with the necessary knowledge and resources to better serve their parishes.
With a strong focus on liturgy and worship, the Diocese of Malaita aims to strengthen the spiritual life of its communities.
Bishop Bebeu expressed his gratitude to all who attended, emphasising the importance of collaboration and ongoing learning in the ministry.
He highlighted that this event is part of the Diocese’s continued commitment to support its clergy in their crucial role of serving the people of God.
