One of the Bulk-shop community hope league debutants Frelon United FC has appointed one of the senior futsal players Pep Randy as the club’s trainer for the Bulk-shop hope league 2025 season.
Randy is a potential futsal player known by his ability and tactics in the five aside futsal code having joining various futsal clubs in Honiara in the national futsal league.
Last season Pep joined the St Nicholas FC in the SIFF Super Futsal League (SSFL) until this year the player has decided to quiet futsal to joined the outdoor soccer as he was eyed by two of the top premier league clubs KOSAA FC and Honiara City.
Pep Randu told Frelon United FC media that despite deciding to fully focus on soccer this year, his love and also passion for futsal has brought him to Felon United not as a player but as a trainer to help the club in its maiden campaign in the community Bulkshop championship.
Frelon United management under Alex Waimora’s leadership has accepted Mr. Pep Randy’s interest to the club’s official trainer position.
“This position meant Pep will be able to assist the club through the trainings and also sharing of important game day information.
“Pep is a fantastic young man who to me deserved to be called up for the national Futsal team many times but he is also humble and his passion brings him to where he is now,” he said.
Meanwhile, the soft spoken lad confirmed his love for futsal and can’t wait to be involved in Frelon United’s second session as a trainer.
“Not an easy road but I found peace when I am around the game of Futsal.
“So being involved with Frelon as a trainer will surely give me that peace but also the new found joy of seeing others I help succeed,” Randy expressed.
