Dear Editor – The ANZ Bank provides valuable services to its customers throughout the Solomon Island and I have been associated with the bank’s excellent services and products since serving in the then New Hebrides (now Vanuatu) in 1972-1974) it is with respect, therefore, that I humbly request that the incumbent Manager of the ANZ’s new, Honiara banking premises provide disability access to the bank in keeping with the ANZ’s declared policies.
Should I be wrong in my assumption that disability access has not been provided, then I most sincerely apologise.
Quoting from the ANZ’s international website it reads.
“We are committed to making our products, services, workplace and culture welcoming and supportive of people with a disability. ANZ understands that disability is relevant to every aspect of our business – customers, employees, markets, communities, suppliers and key stakeholders.
Accessibility and Inclusion Plan
ANZ’s Accessibility and Inclusion Plan (AIP) reaffirms our long-term commitment to making ANZ a place that welcomes and supports customers and employees with disability.”
Yours Sincerely,
Frank Short
