MORE than a hundred teachers from Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) schools in the country have been awarded with certificates after completing a two-day Solomon Islands ACE Educators’ conference last Friday.
The conference was held and facilitated by Slabbert Pretorius and Mrs Anna Marie Pretorius at the Harvest Academy, Henderson area, East Honiara.
The conference was organised purposely to encourage ACE teachers to go on with the vision to raise children in education and most importantly spiritual life of children.
Anna Marie Pretorius told Solomon Star that it was a great opportunity for the teachers to learn something that will help them raise their students academically and spiritually.
She thanked everyone for the successful completion of the workshop.
“You have children at home and in classes too, so teach them and raise them up,” Mrs Pretorius added.
ACE president Hensley Lilivae said it was a wonderful opportunity for ACE teachers to come together and learn something during the training.
She thanked the facilitators and ACE teachers for prioritizing the training.
Slabbert Pretorius and Anna Marie Pretorius are from Southern Cross Educational Enterprises, Australia.
