The Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM) The Most Reverend David Vunagi, has urged all ACOM members who are eligible to vote to cast their vote come November 19.
In his closing remarks during a ceremony to mark the All Saints Day on Sunday in Honiara, the Archbishop called on all ACOM members to go and cast their ballot papers on the voting day.
“It’s your constitutional right to go to the polling stations on 19 November and cast your vote for any candidate of your choice,” Rev. Vunagi said.
The head of the Anglican Communion said everyone has the democratic right to vote for who they want to vote for.
“But remember don’t let others manipulated your right.
“If you vote for someone either he or she loss or wins it’s your right,” Rev Vunagi said.
Vunagi however said; “We must look for someone who goes into the parliament and talk and address issues we faced in our societies.”
