Ministry of health adolescent health workers are planning to organize a number of adolescent related activities in some of the existing communities in the provinces.
This was agreed upon during their discussion last Thursday.
These activities and programs will feature STIs awareness, alcohol, marijuana, protection message on gender based violence and teenage pregnancy.
Ministry of health national program coordinator Nancy Pego said those activities will be conducted for young boys and girls by chiefs and church leaders of each community.
Ms Pego said adolescent workers are working closely with chiefs and church leaders in these communities to conduct those activities.
She appeals to chiefs and church leaders to work closely with the health workers to establish these programs for youths in the country.
Meanwhile she encourages young people to attend those activities as it would be helpful to them and their future.
