IN a bid to attract more local and overseas applicants for the post of the Attorney General (AG), the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has resorted to advertising the post online.
This came after the post was repeatedly advertisement through the local newspapers.
Local lawyer Billy Titiulu is the current post holder. However, the post would become vacant at the end of next month.
Human Resource Manager Luke Cheka encouraged interested and potential applicants both local and overseas to visit the website to obtain information on the vacancy.
He said this approach is taken to save time and make it easier for interested applicants who cannot visit the Prime Minister’s Office in Honiara to collect application forms and other information relating to the post.
The Attorney General is the Government’s chief legal adviser.
