Solomon Airlines operated Airbus has resumed its normal services as of this week.
The airbus had been undergoing maintenance work in Philippine for the past weeks since April as part of the airline’s routine maintenance routine in compliance with airlines safety.
In its absence Solomon Airlines partner Qantas has been serving the Brisbane-Honiara route through one its aircrafts.
The Sydney-Honiara route had been suspended as well during the absence of the airbus.
The resumption of the airbus is expected to see some of the airline’s services to the regional destination back on.
Meanwhile the Dash-8 aircraft which has been undergoing maintenance is yet to be resume.
