STUDENTS attending Aligegeo provincial secondary school this year will no longer use the famous yellow and blue uniform as the school now introduces a new pupils’ uniform.
The school’s introduction of the new uniform also coincides with the introduction of new school badge and school motto.
Aligegeo deputy principal Andy Tosasai confirmed this new development to Solomon Star in Auki yesterday.
He said the new school uniform, badge and motto was launched last year during the 2017 school annual graduation and prize giving ceremony held in the school.
Mr Tosasai explained the yellow top now changed to white while the blue bottom remains the same.
“Only the top shirt has changed.”
He said the new white top comes with the school new badgethat carry the school’s new motto ‘Learning Leadership.’
Mr Tosasai encouraged 2018 academic year pupils to turn up to school in their new school uniform, which is white top and blue bottom.
The new school uniform applies for pupils form one to seven, and it is compulsory for students to get a pair of the new school uniform before attending classes, he said.
With that, he also calls for the students to show respect to the new Aligegeo pupils’ uniform.
Aligegeo PSS started its 2018 academic year this week.
