The weekend concert of legendary Jamaican reggae artist Anthony B has been rescheduled for today.
This was after the artist was refused to board the Fiji Airways flight from Nadi to Honiara on Saturday.
In a statement released by organizers on Saturday, the reason for the refusal in boarding the flight is due to the restrictions in place due to the coronavirus epidemic happening around the world.
“Anthony B’ wasn’t permitted to board his flight from Fiji to arrive in Honiara today (Saturday) for tonight’s performance.
“He will now be flying from Brisbane to Honiara to perform tomorrow night (tonight) in the Solomon Islands at the Pacific Casino Hotel,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the organisers also wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused due to this situation which was out of our control.
“The team has worked around the clock to make the show possible tomorrow (Sunday) and we hope to see you all come out to the show to welcome ‘Anthony B’ to the happy isles with a reception like no other,” the statement concluded.
