The recently held ANZ GoMoney Mobile Banking program held in Noro, Western Province was a success.
This was according to the Team Leader Caleb Pituvaka.
The one day workshop comprises of two phases, the Money Minded Training and the Business Basics training.
The Money Minded phase comprises of five modules which teaches participants about planning for the future, making money last for the next pay day, differentiate need and wants, budget and assertiveness.
The business basics “training includes having a vision for a small business, planning for a small business, setting up a small business and growing up the business.
Participants said the one day training is very helpful and help them have a broader knowledge of how to achieve their business goals.
“This is the very first time we have attended such training and after this training we learn a lot.
“We are very happy to learn these basics, something we have no idea of in the past.
“We will pass on this basic but very important message to our friends, families and relatives,” said Himesly Namusu, a store keeper who attended the training.
Mr Pituvaka appreciated the involvement of the participants saying there was good feedback from the participants which shows they understand what was taught to them.
He added that the participants are so fortunate to have attended the training which so many had very little knowledge of.
“We believe this training will help them to start and think seriously about achieving their goals, “he said.
The group will host a similar program in Munda today.
