TEACHERS who will be posted to Auki Community High School in Malaita Province this year are urged to perform duties faithfully and honestly.
This call was made following concerns raised last year that absenteeism was a huge problem.
A concern parent said his son told him that some teachers were very lazy and can absent from classes unnecessarily at anytime during weekdays.
“Parents pay a lot of money to put their children in these schools, so we are expecting teachers to perform to the best of their abilities.
“Education authorities must deal with this problem this year to ensure good results next year.”
