The Archery Federation of Solomon Islands (AFSI) will officially kick off training session for the upcoming Mini-Games for Vanuatu tomorrow – Saturday 12 August.
AFSI president Nihal Seneviratne confirmed this to Star Sports on Thursday.
“AFSI training session for the Mini-Games will kick off on Saturday at the Rove Police ground starting at 2pm,’’ he said.
“All archers who took part in the recently Archery Level 1 Coaching Course held at the SIRUF Conference room are welcomed to attend the training session.
“We are also welcoming those who had played archery before to attend the training as well as any interested athletes who wish to learn about archery,’’ he said.
He said AFSI will select potential archers from their upcoming training sessions to represent Solomon Islands in the upcoming Mini-Games in Vanuatu December this year.
