Dear Editor – People’s Progressive Party (PPP) wishes to thank Sam Seda for his shared opinion in Sunday Star on “Malaita and developments on Malaita” Island.
Thanks brother Sam, and be rest assured that you can have our support to your call, because that is the fact and the crux and the gist of the matter which all past governments have miserably failed to execute.
MMF now has a political wing called “People’s Progressive Party” (PPP) and we will not promise like all other past parties, but rather we will tackle this magnified problem head on, if we are given the mandate by all Solomon islanders and we will not be ashamed or hesitate to say it based on proven fact on what MMF has stood for all these years and that is Justice for Malaitans and the rest of our country.
Through our motto: “Stop the riots” and “Decentralize”; we firmly believe Malaitan problems can be solved once and for all, because our vision for our country is never to be based in Honiara again but to send this vision right down to the rural mass so that the disadvantaged can also enjoy peace, joy and prosperity they have longed for; and we are more than confident based on the fundamental fact that MMF was about the only organization that has advocate boldly on many fronts and many occasions above the rest in terms of justice for Malaitans and the whole country for the last 10 or so years.
God will only restore this country back on its correct footing when justice is done, that is all that God wants for this country, and MMF knows that foreign forces do not want to see this to happen because of their hidden agendas, but MMF/PPP believes in God and that is why we place God first and foremost in our plans of action and sorry to say that we are just about the only party that has put God in the centre of our aims and visions.
PPP is not about regionalism or Malaitanism or anything of the likes; never; it is about taking firm and bold responsible action plans on the Malaita problems that is greatly affecting our nation, and it will only take a firm, bold and strong Malaitan PM to make that happen.
Anything less than this will only worsen and heighten the Malaita problems further.
MMF/PPP is determined to push our people back to their homeland through our strong determination to implement major projects on Malaita, not because we do not like them to live in Honiara, but rather because MMF/PPP loves them because we have seen enough of them being used mercilessly for political expediency and political ambitions of a few elites holding power in Honiara and NCRA was the real champion on that front with 26 MPs plus going under the spotlight.
Even President Obama swore when he got elected to the effect “America does not torture people” and he also promised to “shut down Guantanamo terrorist prison”, how true could it be now? Stay tune for our campaign messages. God bless Solomon Islands.
