Member of Parliament for Lau/Baelelea, Augustine Auga has returned his allegiance with the Democratic Coalition for Change Government (DCCG).
Auga was part of the group that tried to oust Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare in a political upheaval including former Deputy Prime Minister, Douglas Ete.
Caucus officials confirmed on anonymity Mr Auga attended caucus meeting on Tuesday.
Auga also confirmed he has returned to the DCC Government and him taking up the portfolio as the chairman for Kolombaranga Forestry Plantation Limited (KFPL).
“Yes, I can confirm that I have returned my loyalty to Democratic Coalition for Change Government.”
He said he would like to thank the DCC government for the opportunity to taking him onboard as one of their members again.
“I also would like to assure my good people of Lau/Baelelea Constituency that my return surely will be accepted by you and I will remain loyal till the end,” said their Member of Parliament.
Auga said since his return, he attend his first government caucus meeting yesterday which gives that given mandate will to deliberate on any government’s business of the day.
