MEMBER of Parliament for Lau Mbaelelea Augustine Auga has used his chance on the floor of parliament to respond to criticism raised against him in a social media forum – the Lau Mbaelelea Forum.
Speaking during the Motion of Sine Die in Parliament, Wednesday Mr Auga said it is the divine intervention from God that puts him in power.
He also made reference to his two trips to Israel as a sign that he is truly a chosen leader by God representing the people of Lau Mbaelelea.
The MP then responded to critiques raised in the Lau Mbaelelea Forum, stating that those who commented against him were supporters of losing candidates that contested against him in the last national general election.
The MP referred to those who commented against him as lazy people.
Mr Auga then offered free advice to intending candidates who wish to contest the Lau Mbaelelea seat in the coming national general election to do their ground work now or else he will still win the coming election.
The Lau Mbaelelea MP then used the opportunity in parliament to announce his Christmas visit to his constituency.
