The 2015 Auki Futsal league kicked off over the weekend at the Aligegeo futsal court, Malaita province.
A total of eleven (11) teams are competing in this year’s Auki futsal league.
The teams are, Satorus, AV Raiders, Auki Eels, DFC, Santos Yellow, Santos Blue, Deadsand, Boarders, Ailako Red, Ailako White and Dawn Force.
Five matches were played over the weekend where Santos Yellow defeated the young DFC’s side by 3-1 in this year’s season opener.
While in the second match of the day the new commers AV Raiders settled to a 1 all draw with Santos Blue fc.
In the other results, Auki Eels 2 Ailako White 2, Ailako Red 1 Dawn Force fc 1 and Boarders 2 Deadsand 1.
The other two (2) exciting matches will be played today featuring Ailako Red fc to take on the Auki pre-season champions the Satorus fc at 3pm at the Aligegeo futsal court.
The other game will be at 4:30pm between the Boarders fc vs Santos Yellow fc.
