Auki netball association started off their first league matches last Saturday at the Aligegeo netball court.
The league kicked off on a high note which saw Frigates and AYC displaying a high standard of netball.
In the first match last Saturday Frigates 1 beat the young AYC netball club by 14-11.
In the second match Langa-Langa United narrowly beat Medix netball club by 14- 13.
Both teams comprised of well experienced players.The match was described as a neck to neck contest as both teams struggled to score points.
Both goal shooters were struggling hard to find the target with both goal keepers defending their goals very well from any scoring opportunities.
In the other results played last Saturday, Ailako (1) defeated Fiu by 14-10, Frigates (2) 13 Rarasu (2) 10 and Rarasu (1) 17- Aekema 10.
The league will move into round two (2) this Saturday.
