The Malaita Provincial Government (MPG) and the Solomon Island National Provident Fund (SINPF) are yet to sign the SBD3.5 million deal that will see SINPF taking over Auki Plaza.
Last week the Malaita Provincial Premier Peter Ramohia told the Solomon Star in Auki the $3.5 million deal is expected to be signed anytime this week after the executive meet and decides on the matter.
When the Solomon Star contacted Premier Ramohia on Tuesday afternoon, he confirmed that the two parties are yet to sign the multi-million deal.
The two parties are now in the process to sign the deal.
The deal will be singed and shield anytime soon before the financial year end as SINPF is looking forward to owned its first major asset in Malaita Province.
