Australia is pleased to support Australia Awards alumnae by offering Women’s Leadership Archetypes Training on 24 and 25 February 2025.
Applications are open for interested alumnae.
The training offers a transformative lens to support alumnae to self-reflect and serves as a dynamic toolkit they can use to manage challenges and grow leadership skills to guide personal and professional goals.
Female alumnae, especially those who are provincial based, are encouraged to apply. Australia Awards Solomon Islands will provide support for successful province based applicants.
The Australia Awards Solomon Island will be organising additional training opportunities in the future, open to both women and men.
Australia Awards alumnae are those who have successfully completed studies in Australia or the Pacific region through an Australia Awards, or Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships.
Australian High Commissioner, His Excellency Rod Hilton said, “the Women’s Leadership Archetypes Training underscores Australia’s steadfast commitment to empowering women leaders in Solomon Islands. This training provides a unique opportunity for alumnae to build on their strengths, develop their leadership skills, and overcome challenges with confidence.”
“We are proud to support this initiative, which reflects Australia’s dedication to promoting gender equality and creating pathways for women to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the nation,” His Excellency Hilton said.
