AUSTRALIA’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has funded the clinic renovation for the Betikama Adventist College (BAC).
This funding assistance has been highlighted by the BAC School Principal Beven Tutuo during the formal handover of BAC Public Restroom facility at the BAC yesterday.
This funding grant was for the construction of the public restroom facility project, but was extended to the clinic renovation in recognition of the importance of the clinic to the school community.
BAC Principal Tutuo acknowledged the Australian government for extending the grant to other critical infrastructures for the school.
“…we are delighted to acknowledge that the grant provided by DFAT has also extended beyond the rest project to assist in the much-needed renovation of our school clinic. For this, we are truly grateful,” he said.
Principal Tutuo added the school is excited that Australia recognises the needs of Betikama Adventist College and for its unwavering support to the education sector in Solomon Islands.
“Your generosity is an investment in the future of our students, our community and our country,” he added.
