The Group is an innovative and dynamic multi-channelled tourism marketing company that creates unique travel experiences and distribution opportunities.
ITG has incorporated its patented travel based promotions division at RewardsCorp and Australia’s leading travel innovator and 2011 BRWs Fastest 100 award recipient.
Solomon Island Visitors Bureau (SIVB) marketing officer, Nelson Manepora confirmed arrival of the group in Honiara yesterday.
“The group arrived in Honiara today (yesterday) and will be in the country for few days.
“The visit was possible through the support from SIVB and Solomon Airlines,” Mr Manepura said.
While in the country the group will travel to Marau, East Guadalcanal and Gizo in Western Province.
“This group will visit only two sites in the country namely Marau and Gizo.
“They are here to collect and gather information about these places and will return to market these areas in Australia and other countries,” Mr Manepura said.
This coming Saturday night the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT) through SIVB will organise a cocktail dinner for the group at Dynasty Restaurant.
Prime Minister has been invited for the dinner. The group returns to Australia next Tuesday.
