Atu Balekana, the former team manager for Solomon Islands football team—Bonito to the Pacific Games, Samoa 2007, has been appointed as the team manager for the club this season.
Atu since coming on board as the team manager has been an inspiration to the boys in training as he displayed his expertise in working in such environment.
Atu not only is the 2007 national football team manager but has a lot of experience while working as the General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands.
In 2010, he also led the Solomon Islands Olympic Committee to the Dehli 2010, the Commonwealth Games and the Wallis Futuna Mini Games.
He also has wide experiences working in Don Bosco technical school as the principal. Currently he is the Human Resources Manager for DALGRO (SI) LTD.
The club was without a team Manager since the sacking of its former team manager towards the end of last season. Atu since joining the club has filled the missing link the club has been lacking for the past 8 months.
Atu with his vast experience is a huge asset for the club to lead the club to the S-League and beyond.
