Police call on a suspect who stabs a Bangladesh National with a screwdriver and removes one of his teeth to surrender himself to any nearest police station.
Police Commissioner Mostyn Mangau says, “The incident occurred at the Borderline Bus stop on 11 September 2021 when the Bangladesh National and his wife left their shop at Borderline and went to a nearby store for top up.”
Commissioner Mangau says, “On their way to that shop they met a well-known person to them and the suspect asked them for money but the Bangladesh National told the suspect that he already spend his money on top up and he had no extra money.”
Mr. Mangau says, “The suspect then came from behind the couple and pushed his wife several times and when the victim intended to assist his wife the suspect took a screwdriver and stabbed the victim and landed on his side neck whereby he sustained minor injuries.”
Mr. Mangau says, “The suspect stabbed the victim for the second time and the screwdriver went through the victim’s mouth and broke one of his teeth. The victim’s condition is stable.”
He says, “The suspect is still at large and I appeal to the suspect to surrender himself to the police. You cannot hide and stay in fear from the police. I appeal to those who present at the time of the incident to assist my investigators with information about the stabbing incident.”
