Pan Oceanic Bank (POB) says it will design a product that will allow old age people to have the chance to benefit from the services provided by the bank.
This came after questions were raised as to why people ages more than 50 or 55 are not allowed to loan.
The bank’s chief executive officer Nihal Kekulawala last week said the bank will try to consider the issue by designing a policy to meet a product for senior citizens of this country.
“As we are very new with operation, we will look into this issue to make by designing a policy and come up with product or services for senior citizens of this country,” Mr Kekulawala said.
Meanwhile he said POB have regular awareness programs in Honiara and soon will be establishing its mobile banking in three months time.
He said the mobile banking services will cater for customers in the provinces to access the services.
