The country’s second mobile provider Bemobile yesterday kicked off its nationwide magic number 8 cheaper call awareness in Honiara.
Two stalls have been setup in Honiara as part of the promotion.
One was located at the Chinatown bus stop and the second one infront of the ITA area at Point Cruz area.
A Bemobile spokeslady told the Solomon Star yesterday that the awareness was to promote the newly introduced magic number 8 cheaper calls to people so that they know how to use the new system.
“Today (yesterday) is the first day of this awareness and will continue for four (4) weeks.
“Bemobile wants to make sure people understands this new system and how to use this new magic number 8 cheaper calls deal,” she said.
They also promote some of their latest products related to the newly launched 3G network.
