President of the Solomon Islands Volleyball Federation (SIVF) Morris Maitaki has thanked Bemobile/Vofafone Solomon Islands for their great sponsorship towards the SIVF 10TH Annual Volleyball Championship hosted in the Honiara during the Easter Holiday.
In a letter Star Sports sighted Maitaki expressed his federation’s appreciation to the company.
“Our grateful acknowledgment and appreciation for your sponsorship and most importantly your participation throughout the long week tournament,’’ President Maitaki said.
He added the assistance and the participating of the Bemobile teams to the competition was a great boast to the competition.
“Your assistance and participation was the biggest boast to our event this year and we are looking forward to bring about a longer partnership in the future to give a chance for volleyball to be grow and accessible,’’ he said.
“Thank you very much for your assistance and please convey our most gratitude and appreciation to your Executive board for the timely assistance that has contributed a lot to the successful of this year tournament,’’ Maitaki said.
In response to the SIVF’s acknowledgement Bemobile/Vodafone Sales and
Marketing Officer Paul Elo thanked President Maitaki.
Star Sports understands, the competition’s women’s defending champions Arasina volleyball team has retained their title as 2016 champions after edging West Side in a stunning grand final Monday this week at the Multipurpose Hall.
For men’s category the defending champions Arasina was ousted by the West Honiara volleyball team to claim the top spot in the grand final of the championship.
