The Solomon Island Bemobile Vodafone will be taking 3G services to Auki, Malaita Province this Month.
Chief executive officer (CEO) Solomon Islands Niall Downey said Bemobile Vodafone are working hard to launch 3G data services in three provinces early this year.
He said Bemobile 2G and 3G upgrades are being made to enhance quality for customers.
“This is Bemobile Vodafone’s first expansion boost in Malaita Province since they launched in 2010.
“BeMobile Vodafone will also be launching a new store in Auki to ensure customers have access to mobile products and data services.
“This will bring Bemobile Vodafone total towers in this province to under 30.”
Mr Niall said Bemobile Vodafone are working hard to ensure this province and others continue to be developed with strong telecommunication services.
He said with better communication links, it will help stimulate economic development.
He said they will continue to work closely with the people of Malaita Province to developed quality communication network.
