The initiative was officially launched at the Bonfire Festival 2024 at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara on Saturday night.
“Our Telekom is excited to announce the launch of its innovative foreign remittance service, introduced in partnership with KlickEx, during this year’s Bon Fire Festival.

“With the recent launch of the M-SELEN foreign remittance service, Solomon Islanders in Australia and New Zealand can now enjoy instant money transfers to their friends’ and families’ Our Telekom M-SELEN accounts across the Solomon Islands.
“The service offers competitive exchange rates and no fees for the first three months, accessible through the KlickEx web page.
“Once the remittance is received in an M-SELEN account, the recipient can access the funds at any of the 1,200+ M-SELEN agents located nationwide.
“This service is designed to empower customers by facilitating timely support for their loved ones,” Ms Palusi said.
Ms Palusi said in celebration of the launch of M-SELEN remittance service initiative, M-SELEN is offering exclusive promotions, including recipient Bonus up to $100 for all transactions for the first three months.
The launch of M-Selen promises to transform financial transactions, offering a seamless and secure platform for users.
This means that M-Selen users in Australia and New Zealand can now send money quickly and securely to anyone in Solomon Islands through their M-Selen accounts.
This is just one of the many services M-Selen is offering. The platform also enables top-up services, bill payments, sending and receiving money and the ability to deposit funds into NPF Yousave accounts.
