Green Berets 2 and Isa Purple kicked off with a win each in the Premier Division of Honiara Netball Association.
Isa thrashed newly promoted Gold Ridge 62 – 36 whilst Green Berets 1 edges KOSSA 45- 38.
In the premier reserves, Bokolo defeated Isa Blue 39 – 26, Police 2 beat Green Berets 1 69 – 22.
The biggest upset, was the Southerners who went down to premier reserve newcomers, Kokohale by a narrow 34 – 31.
A division – Kakamora defeated Police 3, 33 – 29 and SOSA Nellystead beats CY Pearls 33 – 16.
B Division – Luapel open with a win against FAMBS 13 – 8, likewise SM Hornbills versus Doves 12 – 9 and HB Kwaks 16 – 7 SINU.
In the High School competition, Panatina defeated Mbokona 16 – 4, St Nicholas 1 beats St Nicholas 2 14 – 7.
Tenaru 1 outclassed Selwyn College 1, 11- 9 whilst Selwyn College 2 defeated Mbua Valley 33 – 3 and Tenaru 2 beat Woodford 16 – 7.
All matches were played except for the Premiers because of time factor.
Because of this, HNA urged all teams to take note of all game times and ensure to be on time prior to their scheduled matches.
