CARETAKER premier of Temotu Premier Fr Brown Beu has retained his seat in Nangu ward.
This follows the successful provincial election on Wednesday.
In Temotu Neo ward 17 the winner is Nickson Lanoli while for Bekapoa Ward 11 John Micheal.
Fr Beu retained his seat for a second term serving in Temotu provincial assembly.
New comer for ward 17 Nickson Lanoli is a secondary science teacher by profession.
He graduated with a Diploma at SICHE, later he was awarded with BA in Education and Management at the University of Goraka in Papua New Guinea.
Nickson collected 248 ballots and his runner up Duddley Tesi collected 224 ballots. Beu collected 455 ballots and his runner up 246 ballots.
In Bekapoa John Micheal collected 212 ballots. Counting of Pele and VATUD wards depending on the arrival of the ballot boxes this weekend.
Temotu electoral manager Luke Paul said the election was done peacefully with the help of Lata police officers.
The counting started on Thursday with polling stations in Nende constituency.
