SOLOMON Islands hip-hop artist, Lester Bibao Kisina, will be flying to Fiji today to begin his tour of the island republic.
Lester Kisina, who is better known by his stage name, Bibao, told Solomon Star that this will be his first Fiji tour.
“This will be my first ever tour to Fiji. My big fans and followers in Fiji are the ones who drove me for my first-ever Fijian tour.
“A big shout out to my fans in Fiji. Indeed, I am so happy to be given the opportunity to tour Fiji with my passion for music,” Bibao said.
Bibao was made famous by his hit songs ‘Your Body’ and ‘Waigo’, which feature Lonna.
Bibao’s Fiji Tour is organised by Pacific Vibing – a group responsible for organising artists’ tours and live performances around the Pacific.
He will be performing in Nadi, Suva, Lautoka and Sigatoka. However, more locations will be confirmed soon.
Bibao said this is an opportunity to represent Solomon Islands and to put on a good show for his loyal Fiji fans.
“With this show, I hope to gain more exposure in Fiji and reach out further to gain new followers and supporters.
“My Fiji tour may also help our new artists to break through the barriers in music in the Pacific,” Bibao said.
For all Bibao fans, Bibao has also released the music video of his song Waigo on YouTube and other music platforms on Monday.
Bibao is expected to end his Fiji Tour on August 3.
