Dear Editor – I hear the bingo evenings were stopped by the Gaming and Lotteries Commission because it is against the law.
I wonder who made the complaint? The people that go to a bingo evening are not the same people that frequent the casino’s in Honiara.
Bingo has been played in Honiara since the 1960’s, bingo night at the Guadalcanal club was the mid week high light.
Jealousy is a curse!
