Western Bullets men’s basketball team tasted their first defeat to Travel Blazers after an undefeated run in the Namson Tran Basketball competition on Thursday.
It was an equally fought match which resulted in the two quarters of the matches ended in a tie but Blazers make sure they grab the points.
Blazers had to put a stop to Philip Tuhaika and Scarden’s three point shooting in the final quarter to keep them trailing only by two to three baskets all the way to the end.
Despite the defeat, Bullets remain second on the overall table below QQQ Marist who is currently leading and Blazers on third, all with seven points but differentiated by goal differences.
In the women’s category, Sunrise remains at the top with six points, El Divas second and Defenders third.
